I am vengeance in conception... A pure inherit trait.

My birth is always constant... In the heart of violent rage.
A conquered land I walk upon... Treaty signed on bloody page.
Tears of children stain my hands... Like blood of innocent and poor.
For the casualty of fear and greed... I am honor... I am war.

Against nation... Against tribe... I know no limits... I avenge.
Taste of power... Gnash of teeth... A cold and bitter end.
Again I'll walk this barren path... My weapon new... Same evil deed.
For the seeds were scattered long ago... Fertile soil of...
Humanity.

-WITHOUT ANSWERS-

I look into his eyes sometimes...
And there are questions without answers, waiting to be asked-
I hold him in my arms sometimes...
Afraid to let him go, in fear he'll never know, a truth so hard to grasp-
I stare into his eyes sometimes...
And there lives a precious innocence, that I realize won't last-
I find myself in tears sometimes...
So deep in my reflections, of all the years gone by, afraid to face my past-

And sometimes when he takes my hand, it brings me to my knees...
And there I stare out to the world, to see what his eyes see-
And sometimes when he calls my name, I try so hard to fight the tears...
For "Daddy" is the word for strength, in these crucial early years-

Without knowing much of this role of mine, for I never have been taught...
I just try to be what is asked of me, by simply being what I'd want...
If I had to answer what I thought it was, that a father was to be...
My guess is that it's trust and love... And an undying revelry-

-THE CHANCE I NEVER HAD-

It is such an empty place, at times inside this shell...
Like waiting for a coin to splash, inside a wishing well-
Deep inside remains one thing, that I have meant to say...
Something I've been hiding from, ever since you went away-

It eats away my heart, like a void that has no end...
Till I am left here all but empty, against this bitter wind-
Like a storm that howls unending, and screams from deep inside...
My demon is regret, and my enemy is time...

So this is for the longing... The chance I never had to say...

The Mother of the one who gave me life...
The one who was always on my side...
The one who taught me wrong from right...
The one with patience, love and time...

The one who really listened, to all my dreams inside...
The one who in the end, gave me all you had with pride...

And I have wandered in stunned silence, ever since that day did turn...
I just wish that I had told you, all you meant in my own words-

So why this random storm did choose, to blow it’s wind through distant trees...

Where the glow becomes swallowed by palettes of gray-

And I have bathed in its warmth as it comes back around-

But from sunset to sundown, from dusk until dawn...
From where the light starts, until the distance its gone-
I can imagine I've witnessed such wonders before...
That no greed should provoke one to question for more-

Yet I ponder the sky every night as it moves...
Through values of violet; then yellows and blues-
And I gasp for my breath, for tonight I foresee...
The most wondrous sunset... That you'll share with me-

It is the warmth of flesh and bone, and the satin of your skin...
That makes me shudder to the touch, as you allow me deep within...

Intoxicate me with your breathing; I could drown within your sighs...
Envelop me with passion, that awaits deep in your eyes...

For I am ravenous and starving, and you are careless where you bleed...

Like dragonflies with crumpled wings, collected in our jar...
Some tortured most by what they’re not, and blind to what they are-

Believing what is told and taught, convinced a liar’s on your sleeve-

For I can hear the crying, of the suffocating soul...
So I chose to be the breath of life, no coward ever knows-

If forever does exist, then nothing ever matters; for there is another time...
