. . . IN THE BEGINNING

Welcome to BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT.
"BOTI" is an independent movie project that will span over the next 18 to 24 months - roughly, the first 6 months of 2005 in pre-production; the second half of 2005 in production; and finally 6 to 12 months of 2006 in post.

Please join us in our journey of creating this world and making what will hopefully be a really cool film.

My name is Lance HaunRogue, the creator and writer. I am also slated to direct.
My co-writer and good friend, Jeromy Cox is slated to be Producer on this film with me - he and I are an inseparable team, and we are now embarking on re-writes of this script while working with our art directors and conceptualizing the story's every detail in preparation for the screen. We also have Shane Herney as Assistant Director, who is an absolute gift to have on board as we learned first-hand on our first film, written and directed by Jeromy Cox, Gothic Cowboy.

Wow... This is a really interesting feeling, I am actually acknowledging the beginning of this process and documenting it, even though it really started over a year ago when I was conceptualizing this story in my mind and putting the very first notes down on paper.

It has been a long road to get to this... the beginning.
But here we are!

I would also like to acknowledge the two leads of the film who have added so much to the process already, just in the writing phase alone, Ian Hannin and Julia Sage - their input and dedication to realizing their rolls has inspired me and guided my process incredibly, I owe a great deal of this to their enthusiasm...
