COUNTDOWN TO CLOSURE - 2005

Well, this year was filled with many highs and lows - with our political climate in the toilet swirling and the chain of natural disasters wreaking their havoc on the world, it was hard to remain optimistic, which I pride myself in being as a rule. In terms of the movie project, there were a few minor set backs, all in fact determined by finances, so that is okay with me, because the artistic failures are what I fear, not the monetary ones... and artistically speaking, I was blown away by what was accomplished. THIS TEAM RULES! And so I owe everyone involved a huge thank you and a wish for their happiness and success in the new year - look out 2006!!! As Ian referred to it, "The year of the vampire!"

I have added some behind the scenes images of makeup application for our test shoot to the PHOTOS section.

. . .

FILM OF THE WEEK:

I'd have to say the best film I have seen recently was a really cool film from Korea that is a couple years old now, called OLD BOY - an extremely disturbing and entertaining film with great performances and a riviting narrative.
KING KONG was awesome, but about 45 minutes too long!

Still waiting for THE NEW WORLD & V FOR VENDETTA

The new band I have been listening to is SEETHER - they are reminiscent of Nirvana, Bush and Fuel... and they stole their name from a Veruca Salt song, so they aren't exactly treading new ground, but they are tight, heavy and solid song writers. Check them out.

ROCK ON!
