NEW MOON ON MONDAY

Well the re-write is under way, Jeromy and I met just before the first of the month and restructured the first act and we were both really happy with the way things were falling into place and being elaborated on . . .

I am about 20 pages in right now and I plan on having the first act done by the end of next week. I will be taking the rest of this week off to get ready for my wedding this weekend - Julia and I tie the knot on Saturday the 18th!

I have added some more "teaser" art from Ron Lemen on the DESIGN page - so have a look!

I will have some script samples up soon, and there is talk of a possible interview with our friend, Khristine over at Crescent Magazine - so stay tuned!

FILM OF THE WEEK:

I just saw VANITY FAIR - A nice looking film with great period clothing and sets!
I enjoyed the story and there are some great performances! I was left with a
GONE WITH THE WIND feeling afterwards!
I also saw HERO which is really good too!
If you liked CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON you will love this.

I can't wait for PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and THE BROTHERS GRIMM (scroll down to see the photos) - both look to be incredible visually.

I saw another film worthy of mentioning - it came out in 2000, but I just saw it on video - it's called YOU CAN COUNT ON ME - I liked this movie a lot, and found the quirky relationship between these two siblings very funny and touching. The two have grown up with strong bonds to one another as well as a lot of disfunction to overcome after losing their parents at a very young age. It's worth a look so check it out.

So hey, if you haven't seen HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, what the hell are you waiting for???
